Contract: Kaman, $41.6M

Kaman Precision Products Inc., Orlando, Fla., has been awarded a $41,634,163 modification (P00012) to firm-fixed-price contract FA8681-13-C-0029 for Lot 11 production of Joint Programmable Fuze systems. The contract modification provides for the exercise of an option for an additional quantity of 10,001 state-of-the-art fuze systems being produced under the basic contract. The location of performance is Orlando, Fla., and work is expected to be completed by April 2016. Fiscal 2013 procurement funds in the amount of $1,519,495; fiscal 2014 procurement funds in the amount of $36,280,545 and fiscal 2014 overseas contingency operations funds in the amount of $3,834,123 will be obligated at award.
