Contract: Boeing, $43.2M

The Boeing Co., Oklahoma City, Okla., is being awarded a $43,200,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering and technical field services to inform, instruct and train Navy and Marine Corps military and civilian personnel at various fleet and shore activities on how to install, operate and maintain equipment on AV-8B, EA-18G and F/A-18 aircraft. Eight percent of the work will be done in New Orleans and 8 percent in Pensacola, Fla. Work will also be performed in Whidbey Island, Wash. (16 percent); Oceana, Va. (12 percent); Cherry Point, N.C. (8 percent); Lemoore, Calif. (8 percent); Miramar, Calif. (8 percent); Yuma, Ariz. (8 percent); Atsugi, Japan (8 percent); Kuwait (8 percent); Beaufort, N.C. (4 percent), and Fort Worth, Texas. (4 percent) and is expected to be completed in December 2018. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (70 percent); U.S. Marine Corps (22 percent); and the Government of Kuwait (8 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.
