NAS Whiting eyes utility savings

MILTON, Fla. -- Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast Public Works Department Pensacola, Fla., awarded a $3.6 million Utility Energy Services Contract to Gulf Power of Pensacola for an energy conservation project aboard Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Milton, Fla. The project, designed to reduce energy consumption and upgrade energy management infrastructure of 12 facilities, will start in July and is expected to be completed by April 2013.
