Hawker Beechcraft files Ch 11

Hawker Beechcraft, which Louisiana more than a year ago tried to lure to Baton Rouge, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Thursday. The company reached an agreement with many creditors on a plan to restructure its debt. Hawker Beechcraft, based in Wichita, Kan., filed in federal bankruptcy court in New York. The company said workers will continue to be paid and customer needs met.
