Enders named EADS chief

AMSTERDAM -- Tom Enders today was elected chief executive officer of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. (EADS) at a meeting of the company's board of directors here. He replaces Louis Gallois, who held the position for the past five years and is retiring.
