Airline files bankruptcy
AMR, parent of American Airlines, the nation’s third largest airline, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy Tuesday. The parent company said that American, American Eagle and all other subsidiaries will operate normal flight schedules during the bankruptcy filing process.
