EMR Inc., Niceville, Fla., is awarded a $10,881,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a cryogenics facility at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C. The work to be performed provides for the new construction of a low-rise cryogenics facility to include an administration/maintenance section, a liquid oxygen/nitrogen production section, and a covered storage area for gas cylinder storage. Work will be performed in Beaufort and is expected to be completed by October 2024. The maximum dollar value including the base period and the planned modification is $10,977,000. Fiscal 2018 and 2019 military construction (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $10,881,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
