Plane makes emergency landing
PENSACOLA, Fla. -- American Airlines Flight 386, traveling from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), experienced smoke or an odor in the cabin. As a precaution, the MD-80 was diverted to Pensacola International Airport (PNS) and landed without incident around 8 p.m. All 115 passengers and five crew members are safe, and arrangements were being made to board them on another flight to DFW.
