FOLEY, Ala. -- UTC Aerospace Systems' Aerostructures has been chosen by Florida-based Spirit Airlines to provide nozzle maintenance for the Airbus A320 family aircraft in the carrier's fleet. Spirit operates a fleet of more than 50 A320 family aircraft. The work for the three-year contract will be done at UTC Aerospace Systems' Alabama Service Center in Foley, which houses both original equipment work as well as the Alabama Service Center, a maintenance, repair and overhaul site dedicated to nacelle components.
