SpaceX to launch May 7

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to take off May 7 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in a demonstration project for NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services. During the flight, SpaceX's Dragon capsule will conduct a series of check-out procedures to test and prove its systems, including the capability to rendezvous and berth with the International Space Station.
