STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. - Patrick Scheuermann, deputy director of Stennis Space Center, has been named the new director of the NASA facility. He replaces Arthur "Gene" Goldman, who will become deputy director of Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. The announcements, effective immediately, were made today by NASA Administrator Charles Bolden. Before being named deputy director of Stennis, Scheuermann was associate director at the center and previously served as chief operating officer of NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans.
