L3 Technologies Inc., Communication Systems West, Salt Lake City, Utah, has been awarded a $9,536,068 Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Weapon Data Link (WDL) other transaction agreement. This agreement provides for the prototype of a WDL to be integrated into the JASSM weapon system. Work will be performed in Salt Lake City and is expected to be completed by July 1, 2022. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and four offers received. Fiscal 2021 research and development funds in the amount of $9,526,086 are being obligated at the time of award.
