FOLEY, Ala. - A Navy T-6B Texan II trainer from Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Fla., crashed Friday in an Alabama residential neighborhood, killing both people in the plane. Zach Harrell, a spokesperson for Commander, Naval Air Forces, said both people in the training plane died. The names were not released pending notification of relatives. No injuries were reported on the ground. The turboprop plane, which seats a pilot and student in tandem, went down southeast of Mobile near Foley and the town of Magnolia Springs.
