EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – The 53rd Wing received a new commander during a ceremony Tuesday. Col. David Abba replaced Col. Adrian Spain. The change-of-command presiding officer was Maj. Gen. Glen VanHerck, U.S. Air Warfare Center commander. This marks a return to Eglin for Abba, who served in the 58th Fighter Squadron from January 2004 to June 2006.
