Survival squadron inactivated
NAVAL AIR STATION PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The multi-service Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape aircrew program here was inactivated Monday and will be consolidated with water survival at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. The 66th Training Squadron's Detachment 2 was inactivated in a ceremony at the National Naval Aviation Museum. The survival school has prepared aircrews from the Air Force, Army, Navy and NASA with training on how to prepare for survival after bailing out of an aircraft.
