Airbus has named GKN Aerospace executive Daryl Taylor to head its U.S. manufacturing facility in Mobile, Ala. He will replace Ulrich Weber as VP and GM of the $600 million A320 plant at the Mobile Aeroplex. Its first plane will be an A321 for JetBlue, slated for delivery in the spring of 2016. Taylor will oversee all systems and support staff at the plant, reporting to Airbus Americas president Barry Eccleston.
