Swoop resigns Florida post

Florida's top jobs recruiter is stepping down from his post at the end of next month. Gray Swoope, the state's secretary of commerce and head of Enterprise Florida, served during the entire first term of Gov. Rick Scott. The 53-year-old Swoope, who came to Florida after serving as Mississippi's economic development chief, said he plans to remain in Florida but did not say what he plans to do next.
