Pilot unhurt in emergency landing

MOSS POINT, Miss. -- A small plane made an emergency landing near Trent Lott International Airport Monday evening, but the pilot was not injured. Jackson County Emergency Services officials said the pilot was traveling from St. Elmo, Ala., and was landing at Trent Lott Airport to refuel, but he lost power and set down in a field northeast of the airport.
