Final truss placed at FAL

MOBILE, Ala. – The final truss, signed by the construction crew and project team, has been placed atop the main structure of the Airbus A320 final assembly line at Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley. Ground was broken less than 10 months ago. The $600 million facility, which will come on line in 2015, eventually will employ about 1,000 workers. It will build 40 to 50 jetliners a year by 2018.
