Contract: Lockheed, $30M

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a $30,000,000 fixed-price-incentive modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-13-C-0014) to provide long lead-time parts, materials and components required for the delivery of two additional Low Rate Initial Production Lot VIII F-35 conventional takeoff and landing aircraft for the government of Japan. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in July 2014. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting authority.
