United Technologies 4Q report

HARTFORD, Conn. - Growth in aerospace activities of Sikorsky and Pratt & Whitney boosted United Technologies' fourth quarter 2008 income by 8 percent to $1.15 billion. That compares with $1.1 billion a year earlier. Earnings per share were up 14 percent to $1.23.
