Base gets new leader

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Capt. Christopher T. Martin took over command of Naval Air Station Pensacola from Capt. Keith W. Hoskins during a ceremony Thursday at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Martin earned his wings at NAS Pensacola in 1995. Hoskins, a former Blue Angels pilot, has been the commander since 2013. Martin flew E-2 Hawkeyes throughout most of his naval aviation career. He originally joined the Navy as an enlisted man, but later graduated from Auburn University with a degree in aviation management. (Source: Pensacola News Journal 03/25/16)
