A321 leaves Mobile paintshop

The first U.S.-built A321 has now been painted.

MOBILE, Ala. – The painting of the first U.S.-built A321 passenger jet has been completed and it has emerged from the paintshop at the Mobile Aeroplex emblazoned with the livery of JetBlue. The company will be the first to take delivery of a U.S.-built Airbus jetliner the spring. MAAS Aviation is responsible for painting aircraft in its new facility at the Aeroplex, located at the Airbus manufacturing facility campus. (Source: Airbus, 03/04/16)
