Airport changing name

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – The Okaloosa County Commission voted 3-2 Tuesday night to change the name of Northwest Florida Regional Airport to Destin-Ft. Walton Beach Airport. Much of the discussion centered on the pros and cons of using "international" in the new name rather than "regional" as part of the moniker. The airport is at Eglin Air Force Base.
