Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Orlando, Fla., was awarded a $531,737,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of 11 facilities within the flightline area of Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., including utilities, site improvements, pavements, detection/protection features, security enhancements and others. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed at Tyndall AFB with an estimated completion date of Jan. 19, 2026. Fiscal 2019 and 2020 military construction, Air Force funds in the amount of $531,737,000 were obligated at the time of the award.
