Radiance Technologies Inc., Huntsville, Ala., has been awarded a $9,597,653 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the modeling simulation and analysis (MS&A) of an advanced weapon designs effort. This contract provides for research and development to evaluate system capabilities in a real-world environment as opposed to traditional MS&A efforts resulting in providing a robust understanding of the intricacies of both the threat models as well as the simulation frameworks used. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and is expected to be completed July 1, 2026. Fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $250,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
