Vidisco USA Inc., Arlington, Va., has been awarded a $27,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for portable imaging capability. This contract provides Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel with modern portable imaging system technology packaged and configured to support employment in dismounted/tactical environments, as well as in support of on-installation force protection missions to interrogate military ordnance and suspicious packages. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and 11 offers were received. No funds are being obligated at the time of award.
