Plant expanding, adds F-35 work
PASCAGOULA, Miss. – Northrop Grumman Unmanned Systems Center will expand its operation at Trent Lott International Airport in Moss Point, creating an additional 60 jobs. Gov. Phil Bryant made the announcement at the annual investors meeting of the Jackson County Economic Development Foundation. The plant, which works on the Fire Scout unmanned helicopter and Global Hawk surveillance aircraft, will add a mix of new work with the $3.7 million expansion, including sub-assembly work for the F-35 stealth fighter.
