Contract: UTC, $21M
United Technologies Corp., Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $21,000,000 for modification P00009 to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price-incentive-fee contract (N00019-15-C-0004). This modification provides for the procurement of one low-rate initial production Lot 10 F-135-PW-600 engine in support of the Marine Corps F-35B Lightening II Short Take-off and Vertical Landing aircraft to facilitate engine testing under the Component Improvement Program. Work will be performed in East Hartford (76 percent); and Indianapolis, Ind. (24 percent), and is expected to be complete in February 2018.
