Sassano starts new life phase

NICEVILLE, Fla. -- He's been a part of region’s economic development effort for years, but Larry Sassano has stepped down as head of Florida's Great Northwest to do work less demanding of his time. His last day at FGNW was Jan. 31. Looking back on 35 years in economic development work, Sassano said helping to create regional business strategies has been his most rewarding work.
