PENSACOLA, Fla. -- John "Row" Rogacki, associate director at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC), has been named deputy director of the Doolitte Institute of Fort Walton Beach. The Doolittle Institute is a not-for-profit established to support the Air Force Research Laboratory and facilitate transfer of technology to and from the private sector. Rogacki, former head of the University of Florida Research and Education Facility outside Eglin Air Force Base, has been with IHMC since 2010 and will continue working with IHMC. "The arrangement between IHMC and the Doolittle Institute allows us to form a mutually beneficial relationship for collaborations in research programs related to science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine," Rogacki said.
