Contract: Lockheed, $50M
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $49,999,799 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-02-C-3002) for operational and engineering support required to integrate the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter operations with the Queen Elizabeth Class carrier for the government of the United Kingdom. Work will be performed in Samlesbury, U.K. (64 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (26 percent); and Orlando, Fla. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2017. International partner funds in the amount of $10,832,900 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
