The Defense Department and Lockheed Martin reached agreement on orders for 71 more F-35s worth as much as $7 billion, according to a report by Reuters. The deal includes 36 jets in the sixth lot and 35 in the seventh, with 60 going to the U.S. military and 11 for Australia, Italy, Turkey and Britain.
