Leaders heading to Germany

MOBILE, Ala. -- Business leaders will go to Hamburg, Germany, this weekend to learn more about the impact an Airbus assembly plant on a community. Ginny Russell, vice president of community and governmental affairs for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, said 86 delegates from the Mobile area will arrive in Germany by Sunday. All participants paid their own expenses, she said. Participants include officers from banks, engineering and construction firms, shipping concerns, human resource companies, the Port of Alabama and the Mobile Airport Authority, to name a few.
