Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $40,200,000 fixed-price-incentive, advance-acquisition contract to provide long lead-time parts, materials and components required for the delivery of four Low Rate Initial Production Lot VIII F-35 conventional takeoff and landing aircraft for the government of Japan. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in February 2014. Foreign Military Sales contract funds in the amount of $40,200,000 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
