Contract: Rockwell Collins, $140.7M

Rockwell Collins Inc., Government Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was awarded a $140,705,351 contract to provide for Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System, 36-month, engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) phase for Increment 2, with options for Increment 3 technology maturation; Increment 1 and 3 (EMD); and 1, 2 and 3 production and sustainment. The objective of the CRIIS program is to develop, test and field the next generation range instrumentation systems intended to replace the Advanced Range Data System currently in use on DoD test ranges.
