UAV market to hit $80B in 10 years

WASHINGTON - While the rate of growth may decline somewhat, unmanned aerial vehicles continue to be the most dynamic growth sector of the world aerospace industry, report Teal analysts in their latest integrated market analysis. Teal Group's 2010 market study estimates that UAV spending will more than double over the next decade from current worldwide UAV expenditures of $4.9 billion annually to $11.5 billion, totaling just over $80 billion in the next ten years.
