WTO ruling expected this week

The World Trade Organization is expected release a ruling this week on aircraft subsidies that could light a political fire under the multibillion dollar Air Force aerial tanker contract. The U.S. accuses European Union countries of providing illegal subsidies to Airbus, and the European Union in turn claims Boeing receives subsidies and tax breaks from Washington state plus non-repayable benefits from military and space contracts.
