Marine Aviation tower up

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The 30-foot tall Marine Aviation Memorial Tower is now standing at its new home at Veterans Memorial Park in Pensacola, the cradle of naval aviation. The bell tower, funded by donations, was dedicated Sunday in a ceremony attended by about 400 people. The company that built it, the Verdin Co. of Cincinnati, hopes to build 100 similar towers and place them nationwide.
